PUTRAJAYA — Jan. 21, 2020: PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin today chided party secetary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail for suggesting that she has become agitated after being issued with a show-cause letter.
“The secretary-general asked me to be calm? I am calm. I was with the party at its lowest in 2004 and I stuck with it. But he (Saifuddin) ran away back then.
“So I’m calm. He’s the one who isn’t,” said the Housing and Local Government Minister after her ministry’s monthly assembly here.
Saifuddin was recently quoted as saying that Zuraida should stay calm and respond to the letter following her speech on December 8 which was highly critical of party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
On the fake news that she was joining Pribumi Bersatu, Zuraida would not lodge a police report over what she described as silly talk not worth responding to.
