KUALA LUMPUR — Feb. 20, 2019: Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today charged again again for criminal breach of trust of RM260,000 belonging to Yayasan Akalbudi, brining the total number of charges against him to 47, including for corruption and money laundering.

The 66-year-old Zahid, as the agent entrusted with the money belonging to the foundation, was charged for dishonestly using the money to make a payment to TS Consultancy & Resources three years ago.

On last October 19 and December 14, the Bagan Datuk MP and Umno president pleaded not guilty to 46 charges involving millions of ringgit also belonging to Yayasan Akalbudi. — Bernama
