KUALA LUMPUR – September 12, 2017: A woman and her ex-husband have come out to deny that their divorce was not caused by her alleged affair with a senior officer.

Additionally the woman — Shazreen Jatta — who is said to be formerly with the Attorney-General’s Chambers, maintains that the rumour about her alleged affair with Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad was aimed at tarnishing his reputation.  Dzulkifli was also with the AGC before moving to the MACC.

The allegation surfaced after a video on the allegation was posted at Facebook late last month.

“Our divorce was done amicably. It is a personal matter and has nothing to do with Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad as alleged by the video. We will not hesitate to sue those who continue to spread the controversy for their own personal gains,” wrote Shazreen on Facebook two days ago, which was also signed by her former husband Mohd. Hafiz Jehangir Shah.

Anonymous blogger, A Voice of Another Brick in The Wall, also echoed Shazreen’s position that the allegation was no more than a mere smear tactic.
