KUALA LUMPUR — November 1, 2017: Touch ‘n Go Sdn. Bhd. (TNGSB) has received global recognition after winning the World Congress Hall of Fame Asia Pacific Industry Awards at the ITS World Congress 2017.

The company is currently the main player in Malaysia’s micro-payment system and has been widely accepted as the cashless system across multiple segments, including urban bus, rail networks, expressway toll and also the retail sector.

Its customer-centric approach has resulted in the establishment of more than 9,000 reload points nationwide.

The awards recognise the highest standards of achievement from the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific in the high-tech transportation community across the categories of industry, local government as well as personal lifetime achievement.

Winners were selected annually from each regions based on factors like industry excellence and performance.

TNGSB chief executive officer Syahrunizam Samsudin received the award in Montreal yesterday .
