KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 2018: Asia’s largest and most highly-anticipated defence and security exhibition, Defence Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference is now on until Thursday.
In this 16th edition, DSA 2018 has become the first and only show in the world that features both defence and security on a single platform.
This edition of DSA sees the launch of the first National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) 2018, fully supported by the Ministry of Home Affairs, that will fully focus on all national security sectors including public safety.
To date, 340 delegations from 45 countries have confirmed attendance to DSA and NATSEC Asia.
They include ministers of Home Affairs (ASEAN), ministers of Defence, Inspector Generals of Police, chiefs of Defence, Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as heads of national security entities from the ASEAN region.
Among the major sponsors of this show are Airbus, MBDA, FNSS, MD Helicopters, BAE SYSTEMS, the Turkish Defence Industry, BMW, Weststar and Thales.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak delivered his keynote address at the Regional Security Crescendos and its Implication on Stability forum last night on the first day of the exhibition.
Some 50,000 visitors from 70 countries are expected to visit the exhibition and billions of Ringgit are expected to be generated through investment opportunities through contracts and partnerships signed throughout the show. – Abdul Rahmat Omar
