KUALA LUMPUR – September 26, 2018: Tabung Haji (TH) concluded this year’s haj season operation today with the arrival of the last flight of pilgrims onboard Flynas XY7710 at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 4.02am this morning.
In its press statement today, TH said that the flight had brought home the last batch of 492 pilgrims from Saudi Arabia who were welcomed at the airport by their family members.
Also present was TH deputy director of movement for haj operation, Mohd Hisham Harun, who took the opportunity to personally welcome the pilgrims home and congratulate them for successfully performing their haj.
The TH’s statement however noted that there are still three pilgrims currently receiving treatment at hospitals in Madinah and Mecca.
“The said pilgrims are being closely monitored by TH’s Jeddah division and we will bring them home once allowed by the hospital authorities,” wrote TH in the statement.
TH’s haj operation this year involved 81 chartered flight consisting 40 by Malaysian Airlines and 41 by Flynas.
