KUALA LUMPUR — March 13, 2020: Lembaga Tabung Haji today announced a dividend of 3.05 per cent for last year, compared to the record low of 1.2 per cent for the year before.
A TH statement said the higher dividend was due to stronger finances achieved due to good investment strategies and cost reductions.

“For the financial year of 2019, TH managed to generate investment revenue of RM3.3 billion, of which RM1.2 billion was raised in the fourth quarter,” says the statement.
The investment income was more stable, with investment in fixed income assets generating 58 per cent or RM1.9 billion, followed by property (RM500 million), equity (RM500 million) and Islamic money market instruments (RM400 million).
