BANGI — Oct. 26, 2019: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has again spoken about the transition of power from Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to him, adding that there is no uncertainty there.

Turning to the media, Anwar then had this to say: “There are no uncertainties; uncertainty only to you .

“All party leaders (Pakatan Harapan) who comprise the majority said they support Tun M (Dr Mahathir) as prime minister and then Anwar and we decide the time frame,” he remarked after opening a seminar organised by Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia here.

Asked about the support by some opposition politicians for Mahathir to complete the term of five years as prime minister, Anwar said: “This is irrelevant. All party leaders have said that this is better resolved by the Pakatan Harapan council.

“The ruling party decides the leadership. Now we support Tun M so that the economy can be put on a stronger footing.”

On the application by former minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak to join PKR, Anwar said this is still being discussed.

“We have discussed the status of Salleh Keruak but we always ask the divisions, state; the process is ongoing. Some agreed and some also gave their views. We listen to all,” he added. — Bernama
