Starbucks kiosks at 50 more Petronas stations

KUALA LUMPUR, April 20 2018 : Good news for Starbucks coffee lovers! At least 50 Starbucks kiosks within a year will make the coffee available at selected Petronas service stations throughout the country.

Through the partnership, Starbucks crafted ‘Starbucks Espresso Kaw Kaw’ which is exclusively for Petronas customers, will be freshly brewed and barista-served.

Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB) managing director and chief executive officer (CEO), Datuk Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus said: “Starbucks has been one of our long-standing partners. Today, we collaborate to further leverage on each other’s strengths, anchoring on our similar commitment to providing a greater retail experience to our customers.

“We strongly believe that drinking coffee is an experience in itself, and hence, we want to serve our customers only the best version,” he said at the launch of the Starbucks kiosk at the Petronas station, Pencala Link (Damansara-bound).

Meanwhile, CEO of Berjaya Food Berhad and managing director of Starbucks Malaysia, Sydney Quays said Starbucks believed the partnership would add value to customers’ experience each time they visit its kiosks at Petronas stations.

“It has always been a goal at Starbucks to be able to develop sustainable partnerships with great brands and companies, with strong values and customer relationships,” he said.

The Starbucks kiosk is currently available at the Petronas station, Penchala Link, with more kiosks planned to open over the next few months.
