Specialists in Adib’s inquest lodge police reports

KUALA LUMPUR — April 23, 2019: Police have confirmed receiving reports on Saturday at the Subang Jaya station from two doctors of KL Hospital who were witnesses in the inquest into the the death of firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd. Kassim.

According to the Malaysia Gazette portal, the reports were related to threats as well as attempts to influence their findings by another witness.

Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat however said no further statements will be made as the inquest is on going.

Adib was seriously injured in the rioting outside the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple last November 27 and died on December 17 while being treated. — Bernama
