SIBU — May 15, 2020: Sarawak PKR chairman Larry Sng is expecting a large number of resignations among the party’s grassroots leaders and wants them to reconsider.
Sng anticipates the resignations would be in Mas Gading, Bandar Kuching, Stampin, Petra Jaya, Kanowit, Lanang, Lubok Antu and Bintulu.
In a Facebook post today he said the resignations should not come as a surprise since rumours have been circulating in recent weeks.
He said many of those planning to quit are doing so simply because they feel disenfranchised with the leadership and feel that they don’t have a future in the party. But Sng is appealling to them to reconsider.
“I don’t hold any grudges against my past detractors because many of them don’t really know me but assume that I am just like my father,” he said, referring to former Julau MP Datuk Sng Chee Hua.
