KOTA KINABALU, Sept 2020: Barisan Nasional (BN), Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) are working to avoid competing against each in the upcoming Sabah election.

BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this was necessary as they need to unite against the Warisan-led alliance to face the Sept 26 polls.

He admitted that there were several disputes after the parties announced their candidates yesterday, but pledged that those will be resolved soon.

Zahid said this today after a meeting here between more than 20 leaders from BN, PN and PBS with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also the Pribumi Bersatu president.

BN and PN had yesterday each named their candidates for Paginatan, Tulid and Sook.
