PUTRAJAYA — April 18, 2017: The chairman of the Malaysian Federation of NGOs, Datuk Seri Jamal Md. Yunos, today lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) against PKR Ampang Member of Parliament, Zuraida Kamaruddin, which could be related to a case being investigated by the agency.

Jamal’s contention is that if a young leader and a follower of Zuraida is being investigated for his extraordinary wealth, the leader (Zuraida) could be worth much more.

The younger person being investigated is Datuk Adam Rosly, a 28-year-old who is a PKR Youth leader. Adam was first remanded for five days beginning April 14 before having the remand extended by four days.

Jamal, who is also the Sungai Besar Umno division head and leader of the Red Shirts group, said he handed over some documents which could assist the MACC if there is any investigation on Zuraida.

Adam attracted much attention after the media reported about his extraordinary wealth including a bungalow worth a few million ringgit and several luxury cars. — Bernama
