KUALA LUMPUR – August 3, 2016: A blogger, claiming to be a former strategist of Barisan Nasional, became a subject of ridicule in cyberspace after she proclaimed that she was the one who elevated BN to what it is now. More significantly, she claims that she will also be the one to destroy it.

Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah, otherwise known as ‘Ratu Naga’, made the vow through a series of Facebook arguments she recently had with her critics.

Those who criticised the blogger began doing so after she posted a Facebook status that they deemed to be an indirect insult to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Ema wrote the posts following her questioning by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and police.

She was questioned yesterday due to several contentious Facebook comments she wrote about Najib’s wife, Datuk Seri Rosmah Mansor, as well as a comment about the Sultan of Pahang.

“This means BN is afraid of me. Like how I was the one who raised BN, I will be the one to bring BN down,” she wrote in the comments section of her Facebook posting.

In response to that particular comment, Facebooker Saiful Bahri called Ema an “egomaniac”.

“You’re such an egomaniac. You brought up BN? Hahaha, give me a break. I just browsed our history books and not one of them has your name written in it,” the peeved Facebooker wrote.

Ema responded by claiming that she was a former strategist to BN.

“I was once an expert strategist for BN and I know all of BN’s weaknesses. Trust me, time will tell.

“Now I know the struggles of working as an opposition. Am still learning but I assure you, I will leak every information I have regarding BN to the people,” she wrote.

“Hello woman. You don’t even bloody know what you are fighting for and you don’t even have a cause to begin with… and yeah strategist my a$$,” Shazman Daud responded to Ema’s comment.

“As far as I am concerned, you are nothing but just an empty can. You only talk rubbish without facts and your references are Facebook and Whatsapp… so what does that make you?” he added.

Another Facebooker Muhammad Norezan Zainudin wrote that BN losing her as it’s strategist was probably for the best.

“BN is better off without people like you. Also, one more thing, you were not the one who raised BN and there is no difference to BN whether you’re in it or not,” he wrote.

However, those who supported Ema, advised her to ignore her detractors and instead focus at “digging the truth about BN”.

“I guess this is life sister Naga (Ema). Not everyone will like us but pay no heed of them and continue your cause to open the rakyat’s (people) eyes. These haters are paid to mock you,” wrote Mohsin Ismail.
