KUALA LUMPUR — Aug. 19, 2019: The much-awaited 1MDB trial of Datuk Seri Najib Razak who is facing four charges of using his positions to obtain gratification of RM2.3 billion from the company and 21 counts of money laundering has been postponed to next Monday.

Justice Collin Lawrence Sequerah postponed the trial also dubbed the 1MDB-Tanore trial which was scheduled to begin today after an application by prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram since the prosecution had just given 15 bundles of documents and witness statements to the defence.

The postponement is also to allow the SRC International Sdn. Bhd. trial also involving Najib to be completed.
