KUALA LUMPUR – February 12, 2018: Pribumi Bersatu has denied that it is selling its electoral candidacy in the next general elections to the highest bidder.

In reaction to this, the party’s information chief Datuk Kamaruddin Mohd. Nor today described the preposterous rumour as a mere smear tactic by its rivals.

“It’s a big lie, it’s rubbish and I’m confident that the public and voters will not be fooled so as to believe even an iota of such a lie,” he texted.

Talk of Pribumi Bersatu imposing a hefty price tag for those interested in contesting in GE14 has been going on since last week.

The Mole was made to understand that the claims were RM 100,000 and RM50,000 for parliamentary and state seats respectively.

It was also said that those who wish to be fielded as a mentri besar candidate must pay an additional RM500,000 upfront.
