KUALA LUMPUR: The Government of Bangladesh has denied that their Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina Wajed, issued a statement via her office claiming Bangladeshi workers here will be granted Malaysian citizenship and accorded the rights to vote in elections.

A BLOGGER has countered the claim by Pas regarding the reforms on preventive laws by referring to an earlier pledge by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak that he would indeed review those laws.
In his post today, Hidup Tuah went back to a statement Najib made on April 2, 2009 after assuming the office of prime minister.

Kuala Lumpur: DAP assemblyman for Kota Alam Shah M. Manoharan has deleted his controversial Facebook 'status update' and comments on Facebook relating to the Jalur Gemilang. The lawyer has also apologised for the uproar over his remarks and comments but remains adamant that his views had "valid points".

Kuala Lumpur: DAP assemblyman for Kota Alam Shah M. Manoharan wants Jalur Gemilang to be replaced with a new flag should Pakatan Rakyat come to power.
Manoharan, who refused to fly the Malaysian flag on Malaysia Day today, said his call to replace the national flag is due to its "deficiencies and shortcomings".
