SEPANG — Oct. 17, 2017: Police are investigating an allegation that a senior official of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had an affair with a married woman.

This is being done under the Penal Code, under which Section 498 refers to the offence of enticing a married woman with intent to have illicit intercourse.

“The investigation is ongoing. We are in the process of determining the facts. If need be, we will arrest.

“Give us (police) ample time to investigate. It is not easy for us to detect but we are trying hard to find who is responsible,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun today.

Fuzi was earlier reported to have confirmed that police had received a report about the allegation. — Bernama
