PKR Youth leader remanded over MACC probe

PUTRAJAYA — April 14, 2017: Ampang PKR Yout leader Datuk Adam Rosly has been remanded for five days from today for an investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission into his extraordinary wealth.

The 28-year-old was brought to the magistrate’s court handcuffed and in orange lockup attire.

He smiled as he alighted from a vehicle, accompanied by about 10 family members and supporters.

Bernama reported that the youth leader was detained yesterday after he had turned up at the MACC headquarters here after lunch to give a statement.

The man drew attention after the media reported on his alleged extraordinary wealth which included a bungalow worth a few million ringgit and several luxury cars.

Umno Ampang division head Datuk Ismail Kijo later lodged a report with the MACC.
