KUALA LUMPUR, May 262018 : Petronas today shared the  Ramadan spirit with 500 poor families in the Pinggiran Bukit Jalil People Housing Project through the Petronas’ CSR ‘Sentuhan Kasih’ programme.

The Aidilfitri Free Market Programme was organised by volunteers from Petronas’ subsidiary, Petronas Gas Berhad (PGB) and the Legal Department of Petronas ,who collaborated on the programme from May 19.

PGB’s managing director and chief executive officer, Kamal Bahrin Ahmad said today’s programme was the second phase of the Ramadan’s ‘Sentuhan Kasih’ programme in the area.

“In the first phase last week, we delivered rice donated by Petronas employees to 200 selected under-privileged families and Aidilfitri clothes for their children under the age of 17.

“For this week, we delivered used items collected from Petronas employees. We have made sure that the items given are still new, in good condition and can be used to celebrate Aidilfitri. To a certain extent, they can help ease the burden of those who are not able to make preparations for Aidilfitri, ” he said. – Bernama
