JOHOR BARU — May 12, 2020: Johor Pakatan Harapan will not table a no-confidence motion against Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad in line with the directive from the Sultan that the state assembly session due on Thursday not be disrupted.

According to Pakatan state chief Aminolhuda Hassan, the directive was conveyed to him by assembly Speaker Suhaizan Kaiat who earlier had an audience with the Johor Ruler.

Hasni took over as MB following the collapse of the Pakatan state government in February.

The Sultan is scheduled to open the one-day assembly meeting.

Aminolhuda, who is the state Amanah chairman and Parit Yaani assemblyman, said all 27 Pakatan assemblymen have registered online to attend.

He also urged Perikatan Nasional assemblymen to also abide by the directive and not attempt to replace Suhaizan.
