Najib visits restaurant serving free lunch

KUALA LUMPUR — Nov. 28, 2017: Datuk Seri Najib Razak today visited and praised the 1Malaysia NGO Alliance Restaurant on Jalan Pahang which has been offering free lunch to people since October 16.

The prime minister spent some time at the restaurant run by Sungai Besar Umno division head and NGO Alliance chairman Datuk Seri Jamal Md. Yunos.

“The lunch served at the 1Malaysia NGO Alliance Restaurant is not only free but is tasty and simple as well,” he said in posts at his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Najib also uploaded four photographs of himself at the restaurant, showing him serving some of the patrons and chatting with them.

The restaurant opens from noon to 3 pm and has a variety of dishes on the menu, including white rice, ghee rice, ayam masak merah, fish curry, boiled corn, fried fish, sambal fish and vegetables.
