KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 10 2017 : The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI), organiser of the Malaysia Autoshow 2017, has taken Malaysia’s largest annual motor vehicle show to a whole new level by featuring a symposium and music festival.
MAI in a statement said, this year’s event featured the Kuala Lumpur International Automotive Symposium and the SoundValley Festival 2017, held concurrently with the Autoshow 2017.
The Autoshow 2017, themed ‘Smart, Safe and Sustainable Mobility’, is held from yesterday until Sunday.
It features 170 exhibitors and showcases a wide range of car technology products and services, giving motor enthusiasts insights on the offerings from their favourite car brands.
MAI chief executive officer, Datuk Madani Sahari, said after the announcement of the National Automotive Policy 2014, the car industry saw an unprecedented growth in consumer choices in car purchases.
“The Malaysia Autoshow 2017 is testament to our commitment to showcase mobility solutions that are increasing in fuel efficiency, safety, and security,” he said.
MAI said those wishing to know more about the Malaysian insurance and takaful industry, particularly the Phased Liberalisation of the Motor and Fire Tariffs that have taken effect, should attend the event. – Bernama
