PUTRAJAYA — Sept. 26, 2018: Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today took about 13 hours to give her statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak arrived at 9.50am and was seen leaving at 10.40pm after giving statement relating to investigations into the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
She appeared calm when surrounded by dozens of journalists, saying “I’m ok…. alhamdulillah,” while smiling to the media.
It was understood that the MACC allowed her to stop 6.30pm and resume the process tomorrow but Rosmah chose to continue.
Seen at MACC was her lawyer K. Kumaraendran.
“Rosmah has completed giving her statement and does not need not be present tomorrow,” said Kumaraendran.
Today was the second time Rosmah had given her statement to the MACC. The first was on June 5.
Yesterday, an MACC officer went to Rosmah’s house in Taman Duta Kuala Lumpur to give notice to her about today’s session. — Bernama
