MACC seals PKR leader’s house worth RM1.2 million

KUALA LUMPUR — April 20, 2017: The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) has sealed a house worth RM1.2 million owned by a PKR leader in connection with a probe into allegations of extraordinary wealth.

The house was sealed to complete the ongoing investigation into the allegation.

The leader is expected to be charged tomorrow for giving false evidence and documents during the investigation. MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki confirmed the matter.

Last Thursday, the agency detained the leader who is believed to also own several luxury cars. — Bernama
