KUALA LUMPUR – September 20, 2018: Weary of the seemingly incessant friendly fire from fellow PKR member, former Kapar MP G. Manivanan has decided to turn to the party’s disciplinary board.

His argument is that PKR central committee member Latheefa Beebi Koya has gone overboard with her scathing innuendo which Manivanan believed was directed at PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

To him it’s highly inappropriate for Latheefa to do so amid PKR’s preparation forthe Port Dickson by-election on October 13 in which Anwar is contesting.

“I will file a complaint with the disciplinary board,” said Manivanan without elaborating.

He was referring to Latheefa’s Facebook post on Monday, in which she allegedly dissed Anwar over what was to her an unreasonable sense of entitlement by him and his family.

“Thousands of ordinary Malaysians rallied in the cause of justice and freedom, were arrested, harassed, beaten, tear-gassed, locked up. They’ve asked for nothing and are silent about their sacrifices.

“They don’t keep talking as if the country owes them and their family. They don’t think what they did entitles them to grab power and position,” wrote Latheefa.

The lawyer has been seen to be on the offensive against Anwar ever since PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli aired out a few weeks ago his by-election ploy to return Anwar to parliament.

Latheefa, who is known to be on the side of Rafizi’s rival Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, has also been trading barbs with Rafizi over the past few years.

Her previous vitriol, on Facebook, against Anwar was during the announcement of the latter’s decision to contest in Port Dickson.
