KUALA LUMPUR — May 28, 2020: The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) today issued a reminder that the last day to appeal for the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional cash aid is this Sunday.

The appeals can be made by submitting supporting documents to a LHDN branch or via email to rayuanbpn@hasil.gov.my.

The deadline was extended to March 31 following complaints from some applicants that their applications had been rejected. A total of 10.6 million Malaysians have so far received RM11 billion.

The aid, meant to benefit individuals from the B40 and M40 groups, is among the initiatives under the Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package after the movement control order was imposed on March 18 and thereafter extended three times.
