KUALA LUMPUR — July 4, 2019: A former Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) director confirmed today that former federal territories minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor or Ku Nan was the man who approved the sale of two lots of land measuring in Bandar Tun Razak to Aset Kayamas Sdn. Bhd.
Ab. Salim Mansor, at that time DBKL’s economic planning and development coordination director and now retired, informed the court that Aset Kayamas intended to build a residential project.
Another witness, Yu Chong Shin, the operations manager at a Hong Leong Bank branch, testified that RM2 million was withdrawn from an Aset Kayamas via a cheque. Ku Nan is charged with accepting for himself RM2 million from businessman Tan Sri Chai Kin Kong of Aset Kayamas on June 14, 2016.
