KUALA LUMPUR — April 3, 2018: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin yesterday got in a spat with several Twitter users after photos deemed misleading were put up by a user using a ridiculously long fictitiously identification.

The pictures were posted by Your Tuanbro Dushbek Fake Bae and among others feature Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil and Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan at events with the people.

These were accompanied by a caption that read “If you need services such as housekeeping, house renovation, grass trimming or cooking, now is the time, once in five years, FREE”.

To which Khairy texted that the pictures were taken several years ago and that the tweet is imbecile in nature.

“We do this day in, day out regardless of when elections are. Be a critic, fine but don’t be a douchebag,” Khairy wrote.

In response, another tweeter user by the name of zakwan said sarcastically that “a minister sure is getting snowflakey about a simple joke, typical Umno bigwig who couldn’t handle satire.”

“Why else would they be bulldozing the fake news act?” asked zakwan.

Which led Khairy to lament how fake news would turn into a joke when pointed out.

“I guess when we call out your bulls**t spin/fake news suddenly it’s a joke, lah? Suddenly,” he wrote.

The post of the pictures were then taken down by the Your Tuanbro Dushbek Fake Bae account but The Mole managed to saved its screenshot.
