ALOR SETAR — Oct. 25, 2018: A Kedah Parti Keadilan Rakyat leader has been remanded for a week beginning today to be investigated for alleged money politics in the party’s election.

The suspect was alleged to have asked for RM20,000 from a party member to enable the latter to contest to head a division.

The suspect who contested in a state seat in the last general elections, was arrested yesterday when he surrendered to the state MACC office. — Bernama
