KUALA LUMPUR — Feb. 13, 2018: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has assured that there has been no compromise to data integrity or members’ savings as a result of the fire at its building on Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya, today.

But this office and branch are temporarily closed until further notice.

A statement said that the agency’s crisis response team had worked with the Fire and Rescue Department to ensure that the fire did not spread to any other floors or surrounding areas.

“As the safety of customers and staff is our prime concern, total evacuation of the building has been taken, and office and counter services are closed until further notice,” it said.

Members and employers who wish to perform any transaction are advised to contact or visit any EPF branch.

Alternatively, members may call the Contact Management Centre at 03-89226000 or forward their enquiries via the myEPF website at http://enquiry.kwsp.gov.my. — Bernama
