Covid-19: Twenty-six of 38 new cases imported

PUTRAJAYA — June 1, 2020: Imported cases made up a majority of the 38 new cases in the country in the last 24 hours. The total overall since late January is now 7,857.

Of the 12 local infections, six involved Malaysians. No death was reported for the 10th day in a row, with the total toll remaining at 115.

Health director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said today 51 patients have recovered, which gives a recovery rate of 81.51 per cent.

Eight patients are in intensive care, of whom two are on ventilators.
