PUTRAJAYA — May 11, 2020: Twenty-nine cases were detected in the last 24 hours from the Chow Kit wet market cluster. This means a total of 82 cases from the cluster so far, with 66 involving foreigners.
Of the four clusters still active, another eight were detected from the pesantren cluster which has now totalled 230 cases. Cases from the Sendayan tahfiz cluster and Cheras security guard cluster have totalled 110 and 13 respectively until today.
However Health director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah told the daily press briefing that no new case was reported from three areas under the enhanced movement control order. These are the Pusat Bandar Utara, Selayang wholesale market and PJ Old Town wet market.
Of the 31,408 Malaysians who have returned from abroad, 353 tested positive.
