PUTRAJAYA — June 17, 2020: Seven Malaysians were among the 10 latest local transmissions which brought the total number of cases in the country to 8,515.
Five of the Malaysians were from Selangor, of whom four were from an old folks home in Kuala Selangor. The two other cases were in Sabah and Sarawak.
According to Health director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, four cases are in intensive care.
Another 140 patients have been discharged to bring the total number of recoveries to 7,873 while the death toll remains at 121.
