KUALA LUMPUR — July 21, 2020: All arrivals into the country, including Malaysians, will be required to undergo mandatory quarantine at government designated centres starting this Friday.

The government decided on this after some who were allowed to be on home quarantine previously had flouted the arrangement.

Everyone under quarantine will also have to bear the full cost.

The shift to being quarantined at government designated centres was announced today by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at his regular Covid-19 press briefing.
