PUTRAJAYA — July 21, 2020: Eleven local transmissions were among the 15 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, with 10 of those infected in the country Malaysians.
The four imported cases involved three Malaysians and a foreigner returning from the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and Indonesia.
There were also seven recoveries to bring the total to 8,562 of the 8,815 cases overall in the country.
Health director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said that of the 130 people being treated, four were in intensive care and one was on a ventilator.
In terms of age, 69.1% of patients are the elderly while of the 66,050 foreigners tested to date, 2,623 were positive.
