KUALA LUMPUR — May 31, 2020: The government will subsidise from Monday the screening tests for workers who are Social Security Organisation contributors.
Employers are allowed to claim RM150 for each test, with money for this coming from a RM200 million allocation.
The Human Resources Ministry and the Health and Works Ministries have agreed that the scope of the Program Saringan Prihatin (PSP) Perkeso should be expanded by increasing the number of tests.
Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said employers can send their workers for screening at any clinic or hospital approved by the Health Ministry.”
Under this subsidy, workers in the construction and security services in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be prioritised.
