PUTRAJAYA — Sept. 14, 2020: Sabah’s Benteng cluster contributed 17 of the 28 local transmissions confirmed in the last 24 hours while the total from the entire state was 25.
Eight of the Benteng cases involved foreigners.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said the other local transmissions were detected in Negri Sembilan and Kedah, from the Bunga and Sungai clusters.
The most recent cases bring the overall total in the country to 9,946, with 615 still active, of whom 11 are in intensive care and five on ventilators..
The death toll remains at 128.
