PUTRAJAYA — June 22, 2020: Twelve of the 15 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours were linked to the Pedas cluster in Negri Sembilan while another was from a pre-surgery screening at the Serdang Hospital.
The local transmissions all involved foreigners. Another two cases were imported, both involving Malaysians who had returned from Singapore and Indonesia recently.
The total number of cases for the country is now 8,587, of whom 8,177 have recovered, including 21 in the last 24 hours.
Health director-general Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said the death toll remains at 21.
