Karaoke under the cherry trees in Kelantan

KUALA LUMPUR: Syed Azidi Syed Aziz – aka Sheih Kickdefella -- the Kelantanese blogger who exposed vice activities taking place in Kota Bharu, has come out with another juicy post containing more allegations of shady goings-on in the city.

In his latest post, ‘Ops Johnson III: Disco-Dut Under the Cherry Trees’, the blogger described a visit by ‘Agent Johnson’ to a karaoke centre “under the cherry trees” in a Pas stronghold in the city, not far from the home of Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, Pas spiritual leader and Kelantan Mentri Besar.

“It is almost impossible to believe that MPKB-BRI (the Kota Bharu Bandar Raya Islam Municipal Council) issued a license for this entertainment centre,” the blogger wrote, adding that this particular entertainment centre is located not only in a Pas stronghold but in a residential area where it operates until dawn and is the source of noisy disturbances.

“So, if you think it’s not possible that this place is operating with the consent MPKB-BRI,” he continued, “then we must ask, why hasn’t MPKB-BRI taken any action against such a centre? Is it a holdover of Umno-BN, which was vanquished in 1990?”

“Or is it because there are also karaoke centres under the date palms in Mecca?”

The latest post contained a nearly five-minute-long video, allegedly showing the inside of the entertainment centre in question.

A shorter ‘teaser’ video of the same establishment was posted on November 22.

“Agent Johnson has just completed Operation Disco-Dut in Kota Bharu Bandar Raya Islam,” the blogger wrote in that post. “Agent Johnson waded into three entertainment centres, two of which served alcohol, and one of which operates until dawn. They’re all in Kota Bharu Bandaraya Islam (Kota Baru, the Islamic City).”

The blogger, who exposed prostitution activities in Kota Bharu in February and October, said in his latest post that he would soon release videos of the other two of three entertainment centres visited by Agent Johnson in the city.
