CEO’s murder: Insurance of RM1 million remains unclaimed

SHAH ALAM — July 13, 2020: The widow of the late Cradle Fund CEO Nazrin Hassan has not yet filed any claims for the insurance coverage provided him by the company.

This was confirmed today by the company’s human resources manager Natasya Aziaton Abdul Aziz at the trial of Samirah Muzaffar, the widow who is the first accused in the murder trial.

According to Natasya, the widow also never asked about the amount due under the policy and how much she would receive.

Samirah, 45, a former senior executive at the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia, and her sons aged 17 and 14 years are charged with Nazrin’s murder along with Indonesian Eka Wahyu Lestari, who is at large

They were alleged to have committed the offence in Mutiara Homes, Mutiara Damansara, in June 2018.

The trial continues tomorrow Justice Ab. Karim Ab. Rahman.
