KUALA LUMPUR — May 11, 2016: Celcom Axiata and MyEG Services have mutually agreed with immediate effect to terminate a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in September 2013 as it had transited to a business arrangement.

Under the arrangement, MYEG was appointed Celcom’s direct channel partner on January 22, 2016, to promote, market and distribute products and services to end-users.

With this, the MoU will no longer subsist, the telecommunication company informed Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

In a statement MYEG said that as both parties have moved forward beyond the MoU, all business arrangements between Celcom and MYEG and/or its stakeholders and business partners remained subsisting and continued as business as usual. — Bernama
