KUALA SELANGOR — Feb. 12, 2018: Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar wants the state government to be honest on why nine Selangorku housing projects were cancelled.
This is because state Housing, Building Management and Urban Development Committee chairman Datuk Iskandar A. Samad and Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali had given contradictory statements.
Iskandar had said the projects’ approval were cancelled as the developers had failed to obtain the Permission to Plan within two years from the date of the approval by the state executive council while Azmin blamed the developer for prioritising medium- and high-cost projects.
On Tuesday, Iskandar said that the state government through the Selangorku House Main Committee meeting had cancelled the nine projects approved between 2014 and 2016 after the developers failed to obtain permission for the plans.
The projects were slotted for Kajang (three), Selayang (two) and one each for Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Ampang Jaya and Klang
Earlier, at an event here 3,800 household heads received donations in the form of essential items and cash. Present was Pasir Penambang assemblyman Datuk Sulaiman Abdul Razak.
