KUALA TERENGGANU, March 10 2016 : Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman said he believed the action of Kijal State Assemblyman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said who tabled a motion for a vote of no confidence against him was done at the prompting of certain quarters.

“I was alerted to be cautious as there will be outside movements wanting to topple me.

“I received the information from Kuala Lumpur,” said Razif when speaking at a special meeting of Barisan Nasional (BN), Umno Veterans Club and the Terengganu Malaysian Council of Former Elected Representatives here, last night.

The Terengganu State Assembly sitting which became chaotic on Tuesday went smoothly yesterday.

Ahmad, who is the former menteri besar was a no-show at the assembly’s sitting yesterday.

Razif, in his speech last night said his agenda now is to ensure Terengganu BN remain strong and successful to ensure it wins convincingly in the next general election. – Bernama
