MECCA — July 25, 2018: Tabung Haji is advising pilgrims to post their goods using the four companies contracted to it to avoid being imposed extra charges on excess baggage because the rates have been agreed upon by both sides.

The companies are Pos Malaysia, Shah Cargo, Koperasi Tabung Haji Logistics and Nationwide Express, said a Bernama report.

The agreement is now in its final year after being extended for one year, said TH External Services Unit manager Akmal Abdul Rahim.

The rates for delivery of goods are SR16 per kilo for the peninsular and SR20 for Sabah and Sarawak. To deliver 10 litres of zam zam water, the rates are SR130 for the peninsular and SR150 for Sabah and Sarawak.

Bsides the delivery and handling of baggage, TH External Services also provide catering, cafeteria, laundry and i-Talk services.
